It is wise to change your locks when moving into a new home.

Track Homes have many contractors and employees working on multiple houses at one time.  A builder will usually have a "master" or "construction master" key he provides the contractors that fits all of his units.  The keys he gives to a new home owner are different from the master keys and other units in the track but the segments for the master key (called master pins or wafers) remain in the lock.

This allows other key combinations to fit your new locks due to additional master wafers in the pin stack plus reducing security against lock picking and key and lock bumping .

Common locks such as Schlage, Kwikset, Weiser and others have this function and feature construction master keys for builders with multiple units.  Ask your builder if he uses such a pass key. 
If the case, we can remove these master wafers to restore normal security.  Additionally we can insert bump and pick resistant spool pins (also called mushroom pins) to increase security in the key portion of the lock beyond manufacturers specs in most cases.  Some newer locks have the bump resistant pins.

If no master key was used, not all the keys to your home may have been accounted for or duplicates may have been made.

Some banks and lenders have Real Estate agents master key all the units they are listing or only rekey one door to get in.  You may not get a key to the rest of your house and need it rekeyed to a new key.

 You should repair or replace any lock that is aged, worn out and failing, replace a bent, weak or worn key before it breaks else be inconvenienced and recieve a costly bill later.
